Show Us What You Saw

I'm a web developer who lives in Toronto. I've always loved animals, especially birds. During the pandemic my partner and I got into camping. We started visiting provincial parks and spending more time in the outdoors. We'd always keep an eye out for owls – people say they're easy to spot, but it's a lie. So we were thrilled on a trip to Balsam Lake when we FINALLY spotted some.

That weekend turned out to be a nature bonanza. We'd never seen a porcupine in the wild either, but on a different trail we saw one sleepily snuffling across the path in front of us.

That weekend got me thinking. Wouldn't it be cool to be able to build custom nature posters? A poster that only includes what you saw, and nothing you didn't? Yeah, it'd be cool. So I built it.

Show Us What You Saw is my spare time project. The "team" is just me, with some design help from my partner. I also owe a thank-you to all my friends who have given me feedback and advice.
